4 Months Old

Keegan & Harper turned 4 months old on Monday!  They had a checkup with the doctor and had to get a round of shots.  I'm not sure who hates the shots more...them or me.  The checkup went great though!    I can't believe how much they've grown in the past 4 months!

Keegan
Weight: 15 lbs 4 oz
Length: 25.75 in
Sleep: Pretty consistent from 7pm - 7am.  Sometimes he goes to bed a little earlier and sleeps a bit later but he's definitely a 12 hour sleeper! He naps 3-4 times a day with the 4th nap not always happening or just being 20ish minutes. His naps are starting to extend a bit more and he is becoming more consistent.
Favorite Toy: Bouncy seat, play mat, swing
Clothes Size: 3-6 months
Diaper Size: 2 in Pampers Sensitive
Eating: 5 times a day, 6 oz each time
Milestones Reached: Laughing!

Keegan loves to smile and laugh!!  He is so happy in the morning and that normally continues all day!  He doesn't "talk" as much as Harper but definitely likes to make noises!

Harper
Weight: 13 lbs 1 oz
Length: 25.5 in
Sleep: Not as consistent as Keegan but still a great sleeper.  She normally goes to bed between 7-7:30 pm and sleeps till anywhere between 5-6:30.  3-4 naps a day with the 4th nap being very short or not happening at all.  Her naps during the day are starting to lengthen and becoming more consistent as well.
Favorite Toy: Bouncy seat, play mat, swing
Clothes Size: 0-3 month onesies, 3-6 month pants and footed sleepers (She has long legs like her Mom and Aunt Kaitlyn!)  I think she will bump up to 3-6 month onesies this week.
Diaper Size: 2 in Pampers Sensitive.  We just bumped her up from size 1 diapers last week.
Eating: 5 times a day, 5-6 oz each time.  The doctor gave us the go ahead to gradually try to take her off Nutramigen.  We are going to incorporate soy formula (Prosobee) into her bottles starting with 4 oz of Nutramigen and 2 oz of Prosobee then slowly switch the ratio till she is drinking straight Prosobee.  Hopefully she has matured enough that her body doesn't have to have the Nutramigen.
Milestones Reached: Laughing! Rolled from back to belly for the first time on Monday!

Harper doesn't smile as much as Keegan but she definitely does smile!  She giggles some but it takes a little work.  Harper is SO chatty!  She is constantly making noises and trying to "talk" to us!

Keegan and Harper are both such good babies!  While many like to say we are lucky to have such good sleepers, we've worked really hard to get them on a schedule and teach them to sleep.  Thank you Babywise!

    1. Yes, they are doing great! We already have our plane tickets booked for Kaitlyn's graduation so we will be home then for a few days!
